A recent article in the Austin American Statesman stated that a 63-acre retail center is to be developed and ready to go by 2025.  The site is at the junction of Hwy 290 and FM 973 and will be called Manor Crossing.  The retail site will house an HEB supermarket, along with Planet Fitness, Rack Room shoes and others already committed to open.  Scores of restaurants will also be on the premises:  Einstein Bros. Bagels, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Chick-fil-A, Chili’s, Chipotle, Panera Bread, Seven Brew, Tropical Café, Five Guys and Abbott’s Frozen Custard.

Also adding to the growth in Manor are 100 townhomes to be built by Beacon Residential.  And according to the Manor city manager, Scott Moore, 14,000 additional homes are scheduled to be built.

Manor is litterly in a good place.  It is close to the under-construction Samsung chip manufacturing plant to the north, about a 30 minute drive and Tesla to the south, about a 16 min drive, and is 18 minutes to Austin.
