Professional Property Tax Protest Coordination

As an exclusive benefit for ALPS Property Management clients, we automatically coordinate with a premier third-party firm, Home Tax Shield, to formally protest your Texas property taxes every year in May. Property tax assessments frequently rise, but our streamlined process successfully secures a tax reduction for approximately half of our clients by utilizing property-specific data like rent rolls, expenses, and vacancy rates. There is a $50 annual processing fee (conveniently included in your 3-year contract), and you only pay an additional 30% of the actual savings achieved on your tax bill once results arrive in the fall and winter.

Because we must finalize our list by April 15 for the official May deadline, the program is entirely hands-free unless you choose to opt out. If you plan to sell your property this year or wish to opt out of the tax protest program for any reason, please notify us by emailing yvonne@alpsmgmt.com or completing the form to the right before the April 15 cutoff. Please note that if your property is already listed for sale or in the process of transferring out of ALPS, it has been automatically removed from the list unless you explicitly request to keep the service.
