Knife Company Relocates their HQ from California to Leander

Cangshan Cutlery, according to an article in the Austin American Statesman, will be relocating their manufacturing facility from Chino, California to Leander, Texas in 2023.  I have not heard of Cangshan Cutlery so I looked them up, and now I know why.  A 17 piece knife set will run you $1,200.  The firm will be a 400,000 square foot facility (that’s over 8 acres) at a cost of $40M.  Cangshan will bring 300 jobs to Leander which will include production, sales, marketing, and administration.  The pay range was stated in the article but I hope it is enough to buy a set of their knives!
