Once we build the trust, and you know that you want to allow us to carry out your landlord responsibilities, and look after your home, you must:

  • Sign the property management contract
  • Complete the New Client Checklist

The management agreement declares Austin Landmark Property Services – Certified Residential Management Company as a fiduciary for yourself and allows us to look after all the activities.

Walk Through Time

We want to make sure that any property we manage meets the state property codes, and is in a habitable condition.

Hence, we carry out walk-throughs to check if the home needs anything to be rent-ready.

If there are existing tenants, we communicate with them and ask them to complete a questionnaire to let us know if there are any additions needed to the home.

I submitted a maintenance request because of horrible AC odor and the response was "we can't do anything about it". It was the most shocking and incompetent statement I've ever heard. Their attitude is just outright terrible.

Avoid Shelly Longoria at all costs!! I’m not entirely sure what her purpose is as a ‘property manager’ other than to collect money but beyond that she’s a terrible person. I was recently forced to flee my rented home due to an attack by my roommate and Shelly couldn’t be bothered to answer MULTIPLE emails with questions I had about vacating my property, slowing down my ability to get out of the house and somewhere safe. She’s also currently trying to charge me for rent for days AFTER I had vacated claiming that mailing the keys to be returned wasn’t enough to show I had vacated the property. But even if I had driven the 30 miles to drop the keys off at her office nobody would have received the keys any earlier as she only goes to her office for appointments. I hope no woman ever experiences what I did. I really really really hope that if you do you have a property manager who will treat you like a human being and not slow down the process of you getting away. Again, avoid Shelly Longoria at all costs. No house rental is worth it, I promise.
