A recent article in the Austin American Statesman stated this defense contractor that mainly makes avionics solutions will be expanding its workforce by 100 employees. The firm recently moved into new digs at the Parmer Austin Business Park where it has a new 390,000 sf facility that can accommodate 1,400 employees.
Mike Crawford, the firm’s engineering director stated in the article that Austin was chosen because of the talent pool with many universities in the area developing the kind of talent they need. Also, he cited that Austin is a place where people want to live and that Austin has a “welcoming atmosphere”.
Just another good reason why owning Austin area residential renters is a good idea.
