A recent article in the Austin American Statesman stated that GovOS, formerly from Dallas. Texas, has now relocated their HQ to Austin and will employ 130 souls. The firm provides local governments with digital tools that will improve efficiency and tools to interface with the public so folks don’t need to take a trip to City Hall. GovOS cited the reason for the move was to take advantage of the Austin areas high-tech talent. The jobs they bring are in sales, marketing and administration, and customer service positions.
